October Workshop

There are a couple of spaces left in my 5-day indoor/outdoor workshop October 10-14.
The workshop will be held in my studio as well as out of doors in Chattanooga's beautiful fall weather.

There will be several demonstrations from life.

Students will paint while I give instruction.

In the evenings I will be showing art films at my studio.
Its a nice time to relax and talk art.

At work

I thought it would be interesting to include an in-progress image of "In Umber". Until recently it was the largest painting I had finished. (50"80") I enjoy working on large paintings as I can leave the small brushes in the bag. Notice the table... It was a big painting.

Demonstration in Nashville

I will be doing two live painting demonstrations at the Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee October 21-22. This event is hosted by the Portrait Society of America's Portrait Academy Series.

Weekend with the Masters
